My inspiration is performing. Whether I'm watching someone or I'm up on the stage myself, I always leave a theatre with a better sense of who I am. When I watch someone else, I try to look for their emotional connections to their character in different ways. No matter if you sing, act, dance, or play an instrument, everything that is done onstage has emotional significance to at least one-if not all-of the people doing it. And I think that is just amazing. When I'm in a show, I try to work the script and libretto as much as I can. And if I'm doing it right, each character I play should show a different piece of me. That's why no two portrayals of a given character are exactly alike-different actors have different perspectives to apply to the character. Everything you see on a stage has a story of some kind or another and more likely than not, that story is an attempt at teaching an audience a lesson on life. If you pay attention, you can't miss it. And once the bows are over and everyone goes home, you'll hopefully take that lesson to heart and keep it with you wherever you go-you'll be inspired to make the world a little bit better of a place to be.
