Calendar

You can subscribe to calendars that meet the CalDAV and iCalendar (.ics) standards, which are supported by the popular Google and Yahoo! calendars, or iCal on the Mac.  Although you can read entries on the iDevice from the calendars you subscribe to, you can’t create new entries from the iDevice or edit the entries that are already present.

To subscribe to one of these calendars, follow these steps:

1. On the Home screen, tap Settings.
2. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
3. Tap Add Account→Other.
4. Choose either Add CalDAV Account or Add Subscribed Calendar.
5. Enter the URL of the calendar you want to subscribe to: (http://www.google.com/calendar/ical/stevengjackson7@gmail.com/public/basic.ics)
6. If prompted, enter a username, password, and optional description.
   The Description field can be modified to include any description you would like.
7. Tap Next to advance.
   After you subscribe to a calendar, it appears just like any another calendar on your iDevice
