B.O.B. #6

This week in class we both finished up one unit and had a test and then immediately dove head first into a new unit.  I like how Mr. Jackson is making it so that the students have to do some critical thinking themselves instead of just being told how to do everything.  This next unit seems quite daunting, I myself am confused on how it is possible for the rational to go up above zero and then slowly go back down.  Other than that I am pretty confident with this unit so far.  I have always liked graphing and trying to find out the shape of a graph.  I think of this unit at a problem solving puzzle, you have to analyze what you can to find information about the graph and then use that new information to help you get more parts of the graph laid out.  The new D.E.V. project seems very interesting because it isn't very often that a teacher requires you to make a video or a demonstration of something they taught in class.  I believe that Jason and I are going to have fun creating our presentation.  The hard part is going to be choosing how to create our presentation, there are so many possibilities!  I also like how Mr. Jackson gave us the project after we finished the units we have to present so we aren't confused about what we have to do or forget everything we had learned if he gave it to us later.  Overall this unit so far been a little confusing but I am going to work hard on understanding it the best that I can.
