B.O.B.-Reflection on this week

This week started off with learning about completing the square. I thought this was the easiest thing in the world until the numbers weren't whole numbers. Then it got a little bit more confusing. Actually a lot more. But digging back through our prior knowledge of multiplying fractions came in handy. Completing the square is still fairly easy, it just takes longer and requires a lot more thinking and work. So far this unit has been easier for me than the last unit but I'm not banking on that yet because we just started and some smart math guy many years ago decided he wasn't going to stop at completing the square. Thanks smart math guy. And thank you Mr. Jackson for teaching us this math so well and for all the extra time you put into helping us understand the material!
