B.O.B-Thursday in class

I didn't figure out that we were deriving the quadratic equation until I was almost done. That made me slightly frustrated with myself because I did that last year and I figured it should have been familiar/easy...and it was neither if those. I also had issues with x and y intercepts, but I finally got that straight, so that's good. I just have to be more careful when I complete the square to change an equation to vertex form as opposed to solving when that equation is set equal to zero. I have to remember to either factor out the a value or remember to devide f(x) or y or whatever that variable is  by the a value so I don't get rid of it completely and mess myself up. But besides that, I'd say I'm on pace with this unit so far.
