On Thursday Mr. Jackson had us try to solve for x in ax^2+bx+c and my group did solve it but was not simplified but when he told us that the answer simplified was x=(-b +or- the square root of b^2-4ac)/2a it was like wow I would not have suspected that. It was cool and fun to try to do that with variables instead of numbers and it was a little bit like being thrown in the deep end with the sharks again. It was a fun to do that that day even though I lost extra credit on a rock paper scissors game.
